APPROPRIATE PUBLIC: adults, young adults.
OUR OPINION: It very well develops the temptation to use violence to stop injustice and violence itself. Romero is always positioned in peace side, but encourages to participate in misery and to denounce injustice and not stand and omit their help. It helps to understand that there are places where you people are experiencing moments of real injustice and an absolute lack of absolute peace. And he gives the keys to act ... speaking about it and to be the voice of the oppressed, although he needs to talk more about the strength of prayer and trust in God and his Blessed Mother.
INCONVENIENT: Violent or somewhat unpleasant scenes contained.
In El Salvador, the new bishop speaks out against the death squads and the terror campaign the government is using in an attempt to crush the guerilla war that is being waged against them. This is seen as disloyality and the number of priests attacked goes up and even churches are shut down by the government. Based on a true story, Romero was assassinated in March, 1980.
