This synthetic jute Tilma featuring the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a replica of the Sacred Image preserved in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, as it appears today, including the signs of wear it has acquired over nearly 500 years since the apparitions to Saint Juan Diego. No one knows exactly what it originally looked like, so this replica reproduces the image as it appears today, out of respect for Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary.

An exceptionally high level of color quality and precision has been achieved. It is made in Mexico by Catholic families through a socially responsible company, with a high-quality finish produced exclusively by us. It comes with a certificate stating that it is made by Catholics, manufactured in Mexico from synthetic jute, and produced with a high degree of color and image fidelity to the original Tilma.

Made by Catholics sought to create a faithful reproduction of the image as it appears today, out of respect for the Virgin Mary, without altering the image in an attempt to improve it, since no one knows exactly what it looked like 500 years ago. Unfortunately, the image has suffered considerable deterioration over the centuries.

The Challenges
1. To print a beautiful and precise reproduction on synthetic jute, using a material similar to the original.
2. To reproduce the original image with precision and clarity.
3. To achieve high-quality printing at a very large scale, such as the original size.
4. To achieve approximately 85% color fidelity.
